This Bridesmaids Dress remix is special - not just because its winter-party themed, but because the dress pictured comes from our Sample Sale Rack! Because of all of our 2014 new arrivals, we are running out of room in our store for all of our great dresses. Our loss is your gain, because most of the dresses on our sample sale rack are only $25 dollars. A small price to pay to look holiday chic!
Watters 9612
Metallics are the hottest winter trend, but also the toughest to wear. We suggest pairing this taffeta dress with subtle but similar accessories, such as iridescent heels and a classy sequin sweater. This way you can ease more bold accessories in to your look flawlessly, like a holographic wallet or lucite sunglasses. A leather tote with gold accents gives your look a pop of winter-white, and don't forget some loose shimmer powder for a healthy winter glow.
Dress: Watters, Cardigan: Hallhuber, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Guess, Shoes: Jimmy Choo, Sunglasses: Jimmy Choo, Wallet: Tory Burch, Tote: Miu Miu, Makeup: Butter London, CID, Nail Polish: Estee Lauder.

We think that at your wedding you should celebrate a love that can span any amount of distance. Whether you are currently far apart or finally together, take a look at the adorable things we found to keep your loved one close to your heart, even if they are physically far away.

Nothing is more perfect for a holiday party than a jewel tone dress, as bright colors fit perfectly into the holiday palette. Because they are such rich colors, they need no competition when it comes to accessories. That's why we paired this look with classic closet staples like a blazer and black ankle boots. Bringing in touches of gold and jewel-tones that mirror the dress' color (like the teal and gold earrings below) make the dress really "pop." And be sure to leave room for subtle touches of fun, like the cheetah-print cell phone case pictured below.
Dress: After Six, Belt: Biba Blazer: New Look, Booties: Valentino, Ring: Miss Selfridge, Earrings: LuLu Frost, Phone Case: Michael Kors, Envelope Clutch: Tory Burch, Perfume: Dolce&Gabbana, Makeup: Bobbi Brown, Lord&Berry.

Wedding Inspiration: Polka Dots
If you are looking for a little pattern to make a big "pop" at your wedding, look no further. Both whimsically gleeful and decidedly graphic, polka dot accents have a unique way of making a wedding look classy and cheerful all at once. We were surprised as we scoured the web how many brides have incorporated this playful pattern into their big day, and how inspiring something as little as a dot could be!
The rules when playing with polka dots are simple - multicolored accents give the look of a child-like wonderland, while sticking with a monochromatic color palette keeps it modern, sleek and subtle. Whether you want to keep it simple or make dots a big part of you big day, check out how other brides have incorporated this look into their wedding decor.

Are You Bold Enough for a Black Wedding Gown?
Maybe we're biased, but when people think of weddings, we're guessing that one of the first things that comes to mind is a beautiful white dress. However, with most dresses being ordered in ivory, and blush-colored dresses rising in popularity, the tradition of a "white" dress is seemingly falling to the wayside.
On May 10 of this year, 90210-actress Shenae Grimes tied the knot in a gorgeous Vera Wang gown - that was black! The most surprising part? How stunning she looked. While black may not be a usual color choice, if you are a bride who wants to break tradition and have a dress that gets everyone talking, a black wedding gown is the way to go. Even some of the designers we carry at Miss Ruby Boutique offer options in black for the non-traditional bride.
