Minnesota's First Day of Marriage Equality

It's no secret that we love weddings at Miss Ruby. That's why when we saw links to these pictures on our Facebook News-feeds, we felt compelled to share. At city hall in downtown Minneapolis, crowds filled the space to celebrate marriage equality. As soon as the law took effect at midnight, couples lined up to tie the knot in front of their family, friends, and hundreds of onlookers. The result was not only history in the making, but a beautiful celebration of love. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the event.

Check out all of the pictures here and read more about Minnesota's first day of Marriage Equality here.

Crowds gathered to watch this historic and beautiful event.

Different couples with different faiths all were in attendance.

These fashionistas look stunning in a complementing black and white.

Even the the flower girls were there (even though it was past their bedtime)

Everyone should look this happy to marry their significant other!
These two were pumped about tying the knot...

...and so were these two! It was a very exciting day full of all kinds of emotions!

We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
Hopefully Wisconsin is next!
