Inspiration: A Halloween Wedding

Halloween is a favorite holiday of ours. There's nothing better than having an excuse to wear an over-the-top costume and go all out on makeup and accessories. Any treats (or tricks) are just icing on the cake.

When we started looking, we found inspiration from so many brides who chose to embrace the holiday and incorporate it into an unforgettable Halloween wedding. While this definitely isn't a theme every bride is going to be quick to follow, for a bride who is unconventional and loves Halloween it can make for a shockingly beautiful soiree. The most surprising thing we found while searching for Halloween-inspired weddings was how chic they could be. Touches of black in all the right places and just a little bit of humor makes for a wedding that is more sleek than scary.

Inspiration: A Red, White and Blue Wedding

With Summer in full swing, the 4th of July is right around the corner! For most it means backyards, cookouts and fireworks. But for some brides, it means a perfect opportunity to gather friends and family and have a wedding that is all about American pride. A red, white and blue wedding doesn't have to be tacky. We found that taking traditional concepts like fireworks or stars and stripes and making them graphic and abstract brings a fresh, modern look (like the sparkler invitations pictured below). However, we've found that being cliche in the right places gives your wedding a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.

From the runway to the red carpet, lace is leaving its mark on this fall and winter season. From simple ready- to-wear pieces like t-shirts and camis, to lace booties, it is hard to deny the power of this luxurious fabric in today’s fashion. • Less is more! Keep accessories minimal. Stick with simple, understated jewelry and a small clutch bag to let the dress do all the talking. Hair and make-up should also follow this rule. Try a simple, effortless updo paired with a neutral eye and a classic red or mauve lip.

• Keep it monotone! For those colder days, pair with a matching color boyfriend blazer or bolero. This will keep your look uniform and will ensure your lace is the main attraction.
