What is the National Bridal Sale Event?

The National Bridal Sale Event is a nation-wide event where bridal retailers clear their racks and give area brides the best bargains possible. Miss Ruby Boutique is proud to be a part of this event once again. We're proud to bring this event to Milwaukee brides. 

When Does The Sale Run?

Our sale is taking place Tuesday, July 11th - Sunday, July 16th by appointment. During this week, you'll find great deals on nearly everything we have in store, including bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, veils, belts, accessories, and more!

What Will Be On Sale?

Our Bridal Gowns will be available off-the-rack for incredibly low prices - starting at just $99! 

Bridesmaids dresses will also be available off-the-rack for as low as $25!

Designer off-the-rack accessories will be marked down storewide, and brides will also receive 10% off any accessory order.

Will I Save Money if I Order a Brand New Dress?

Our markdowns are for off-the-rack styles only. With that said, we always have $100 off weekday bridal gown orders and first appointment bridesmaid dress orders. Ask your stylist for more details. 

Are Appointments Required?

Appointments are required to try on bridal gowns. 

Appointments are highly recommended to try on bridesmaids dresses, as we can only guarantee a fitting room and a stylist for those with appointments. If you want to browse our bridesmaid sale selection, appointments are not required. However, please be aware that without an appointment you may have to wait several minutes for someone to help you or a fitting room to open up. 

How Do I Get The Best Deal?

Our store is very busy during the sale, so we suggest shopping EARLY! We suggest stopping by Tuesday afternoon to get the biggest selection and the best deals.

What is National Bridal Sale?

Expected to become the "Black Friday of Bridal," this nation-wide event was created because of a collective desire from bridal salons to help brides find their dream dress for a fraction of the price. Over 600 bridal stores across the United States and Canada are participating, and Miss Ruby Boutique is happy to be one of them!

What Items Will be on Sale?

Nearly all of our sample Bridal Gowns and Bridesmaids dresses will be on sale. Our Bridal Gown samples are up to 75% off and start as low as $250. Our Bridesmaids Dress samples start at $15!

I'm Not A Size 0 - Can I Still Buy A Sample?
Absolutely! A majority of our Sample gowns and bridesmaids dresses are bridal sizes 8, 10 or 12 - depending on the designer, that translates to a street size 6-10. We also have a small number of plus-size samples, ranging from size 18-20.

Will There be a Discounted Price if I Custom Order a Gown?
No, this is a sale on our in-store sample dresses only. The sale price reflects the cost of purchasing the gown off-the-rack.

Do I Need an Appointment to Shop Bridal Gowns?
Yes, during this sale, our bridal fitting rooms are still available by appointment only. We want to maintain the highest level of customer service for all of our brides, and the only way we can do that is to ensure we have a qualified stylist to assist you.

Do I Need an Appointment to Shop Bridesmaids / Special Occasion Dresses?
No! We are typically "by appointment only" for bridesmaids, however due to the nature of our sale we have decided that our sample bridesmaids dresses are first-come, first-serve. Keep in mind that the hottest colors and styles will go quickly, so visiting our store on Friday will give you the largest selection.

Typically when a bride purchases a wedding gown, she places an order in our store and we have a dress in her size shipped to us. At a sample sale, you take the dress we have in store home with you when you purchase.

Why Are You Selling Your Sample Dresses? 
We love all of our samples, but we simply run out of space! A Sample Sale is a win-win for our boutique and our brides, because it means we get to clear some space on our racks and our customers can get high quality gowns for a bargain.

I'm Not A Size 0 - Can I Still Buy A Sample?
Absolutely! A majority of our Sample gowns are bridal sizes 8, 10 or 12 - depending on the designer, that translates to a street size 6-10. We also have a small number of plus-size samples, ranging from size 18-20.

Our samples are still very much in style - from bohemian dresses to breathtaking ballgowns, there is something for everyone. They have all been previously tried on by brides. Some of our samples are still in pristine condition, others are a little more "well-loved." We offer information for local dry cleaners and seamstresses to all of our brides, however, most of our samples look as good as new.

I Just Started Bridal Shopping - Should I Visit the Sample Sale?
Our boutique welcomes all brides to come to our Sample Sale, but we find that this event is best for brides who are ready to make a decision in regards to purchasing their gown. We hate it when someone falls in love with a sample gown (and it's incredible price) and it sells while she is trying to decide if it's "The One." Because of the nature of our sale, if you want to get a like-new gown at a heavily discounted price, it's best to be open to buying that day.

With out Moving Sale (and our big move!) quickly approaching, we thought that we would take the time to answer some FAQs about our sale so that everyone knows exactly what to expect before they come through our doors Friday afternoon.

What Is Your Moving Sale?

Our Moving Sale is taking place so that we can sell some of our sample bridesmaid, mother of occasion, special occasion, and little white dresses before we move to our new location at The Pritzlaff. 

Is There Anything Wrong With Your Samples?

Our samples are all in excellent condition because we take great care of our dresses. With that being said, they occasionally have minor defects such as missing a hook & eye clasp, etc. All of our dresses are priced accordingly.

Can I Order a Dress From the Moving Sale in a Different Color or Size for My Bridesmaids?

If a dress does not say "discontinued" on the tag, it is likely able to be ordered in different colors and sizes. However, it can only be ordered for the ORIGINAL RETAIL PRICE. The discounted Moving Sale price is to purchase the sample dress we have in store ONLY. 

Will You Have Sample Bridal Gowns at Your Moving Sale?

We will have a limited number of bridal gown samples available for purchase. Please call Miss Ruby Boutique to inquire if a specific gown will be on our sale. 

Does Your Moving Sale Run All Day?

Our moving sale takes place during our Friday business hours: Noon - 6:00. While the sale is first come, first serve, please don't arrive before Noon - our doors won't be open before that time. 

What Sizes Are Your Samples?

The sizes of our bridesmaid and special occasion dresses vary by designer, but they all run between street sizes 6-14. If you are below or above that size range, it will be very difficult to find sample dresses at our sale that will fit you correctly. With that being said, a Miss Ruby Consultant can talk to you about alterations that can be done on a specific dress.

Do You Take Personal Checks?

No - The Moving Sale is Cash or Credit ONLY. 

What Is Your Return Policy?

All of our dresses are FINAL SALE.
