Are You Bold Enough for a Black Wedding Gown?
Maybe we're biased, but when people think of weddings, we're guessing that one of the first things that comes to mind is a beautiful white dress. However, with most dresses being ordered in ivory, and blush-colored dresses rising in popularity, the tradition of a "white" dress is seemingly falling to the wayside.
On May 10 of this year, 90210-actress Shenae Grimes tied the knot in a gorgeous Vera Wang gown - that was black! The most surprising part? How stunning she looked. While black may not be a usual color choice, if you are a bride who wants to break tradition and have a dress that gets everyone talking, a black wedding gown is the way to go. Even some of the designers we carry at Miss Ruby Boutique offer options in black for the non-traditional bride.

One of the things we love about being a small boutique is being able to listen to our customers and give them exactly what they want! We have recently received many calls and emails requesting bridal garters. Because of your interest we worked with Jaxie on creating a beautiful bridal garter collection for our Miss Ruby Brides.

Wedding Inspiration: Thanksgiving
What is a more perfect occasion to gather friends and family than Thanksgiving? That's easy! A Wedding!
This post is inspired by all things Thanksgiving. With the Autumn weather drawing slowly to a close, the shades of brown and gold present at the end of November are the perfect inspiration for a cozy, harvest wedding. Start with a gown in the color "spun gold," and add pops of burgundy and orange to make your wedding picture perfect.
