Make Your Wedding Chevron Chic

The trendy chevron pattern stepped into the spotlight last year and isn't going anywhere! This popular pattern is showing up in designer textiles and clothing, so why not have it show up at your wedding too? Chevron patterns in your wedding colors are very modern and on-trend. We're not suggesting you go too overboard, but incorporating little pops of the pattern in unexpected places makes a really pretty accent.

Here are just some examples of the kinds of wedding products (and the Etsy stores you can buy them from!) that can make your wedding chevron-chic!

Bridesmaid remix

Watters 22252
Like it or not, when you live in Wisconsin, winter is always on its way. Look chic this holiday season in this cocktail dress by Watters. This navy lace dress looks as amazing in a wedding party as it does on a casual winter night. Here, we paired this dress with a tweed trench coat and chunky, knit outerwear. Add trendy accessories like animal print flats, a rose gold watch and gray nail polish to enhance this classic look. And on a cold day, nothing makes a better hand-warmer than a holiday beverage in a red Starbucks cup!

Style it: Harvard Dress

Won’t you be the smartest girl on campus, while you strut around town in the Harvard?! I have personally bought this dress, and it was the smartest thing I have done all season. Not only is this dress versatile for all occasions, it will keep you warm, cozy and stylish all at the same time!

Keep it Casual - Whether you are out for coffee with your friends or running some weekend errands, this look will keep you comfy and looking cool at the same time.
  • Wear the Harvard as a tunic and pair it with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans to keep you looking fabulous while it’s freezing out.
  • Slip on a pair of metallic flats to keep your outfit proportioned. Perfect for those on-the-go days.
  • Accessorize with bangles or add a belt to give your look a little more power.

Dress it Up - Just by changing a few accessories, the Harvard becomes the perfect dress for a wine night out with the girls or a dinner date with the boyfriend.
  • These clever cover-up booties are all the rage this fall and they pair perfectly with the fold-over collar on the dress. Pair with matching opaque tights for that sexy seamless look that will make your legs look like they go on for days!
  • Grey is the hottest color for fall, add a girly touch with a grey ruffle or stud bag.
  • For a little extra bling try a long dangly earring or feather earring to finish off the look.
  • Baby, its cold outside! Try a wool sweater wrap or leather motorcycle jacket for a little extra warmth.

Chain it!  Add a little glitz and glamour with a long, multilayer necklace.
