Wedding Favors Your Guests Will Love

When it comes to wedding planning, sometimes the smallest details can be the toughest. Finding a dress, finding a location and finding a photographer are all high on the to-do list, but don't forget, it's the little details that are really going to make your big day memorable. Thanking your friends and family for taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate your wedding with you is definitely a must! Check out these ideas for wedding favors that we think your guests will absolutely love.

1. Local Flavors
If many of the guests are self confessed "foodies," this is a great gift for them! Check out Farmers Markets in the area to find farms that will be more than happy to supply their product for your wedding. Also, using local vendors not only helps your community but also allows your out-of-town guests to take home some local flavors.

Honey Jars from local vendors is a great way to take the taste of the region home!

Locally tapped maple syrup (like these from a Vermont wedding) are adorable and delicious!

Locally grown cherries (Door County, anyone?) are a tasty treat!

2. Libations
If you are having a wedding (especially in Wisconsin), it's no secret that most of your guests will be indulging in alcoholic beverages. Embrace this idea by giving your guests something that they can drink. These gifts will please a crowd that loves to party.

If the bride or groom love home-brewing, this is a great way to showcase it!

For Whiskey drinkers, this is a perfect present that is sure to get use!

Adding fun pictures of the couple to mini-champagne bottles makes for a meaningful gift (and a fun toast!)

3. Homemade and from the Heart
If you are ready to DIY, this is a great option for you. Giving your guests something that you made (or at least assembled!) will be a great way to show your guests how much you truly appreciate their presence at your big day.

Mini-planters with flowers inside are gifts that guests can enjoy more than once!

Great at baking? Share your gift with homemade cookies.

If you are really crafty, homemade soaps make favors that smell wonderful.

4. A Charitable Donation
This is our favorite idea for a wedding favor! In lieu of a gift, donate the money to a charity that is meaningful to the bride and groom. It is a great use of the money, and guests will love the idea that their "gift" went to a greater cause. Check out how other brides presented this as a "favor" to their guests, and definitely consider this option when planning your wedding.

Find The PERFECT Gift For Your Bridal Party!

Bridesmaids Gifts –
Through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse. No, were not talking about your husband. We’re referring to those equally important people in your life, who will be there to laugh with you, cry with you, and even wear a bright pink dress for you. We’re talking about your bridesmaids.

For all they have done for you in the months preceding the wedding day, an unforgettable bridesmaid’s gift is a wonderful way to show your appreciation. Whether you have one or ten bridesmaids, we scoured etsy.com for some affordable and memorable gifts for your girls.
1.
A personalized piece of jewelry is a way to make your bridesmaids each feel special on your wedding day. MiNiBelle  has personalized initial monogram necklaces with a freshwater pearl accent. It’s a delicate accessory that will look as great walking down an isle as it will with a casual outfit:

2.

S       Sticking with the theme of personalization, a unique way to celebrate your friendship is with lilmisskaties Latitude and Longitude leather bracelet. You can personalize the coordinates on each bracelet, allowing you to commemorate the location of your wedding, your hometowns, or the place where you and your friend first met.

3.       If your girls are the kind who prefers a night out on the town over a quiet night in, personalized bar wear doesn’t have to be just for the groomsmen. Engraved wine glasses like the ones from glassgirljen are as useful as they are thoughtful. Pair this with a bottle of your favorite wine and a custom label from casandria for a perfect gift set.
