Third Coast Style Wedding Trunk Show coming soon

Our neighbor Third Coast Style is having an event that we are naturally very excited about. Their Wedding Trunk Show is taking place February 12 - March 2, and is going to feature one-of-a-kind bridal gowns and accessories from local Milwaukee designers.

Supporting Milwaukee - whether you are shopping at local businesses or working with local designers - is so important as all of the money spent goes directly back into the community and makes Milwaukee even more wonderful! Make sure to visit Third Coast Style during this fabulous event - and stop by Miss Ruby too. We are neighbors after all!

Wedding Inspiration: Limeade

A new bridemaids dress in a brand new color is making a big impact in our store! After Six #6689 (pictured below) is sampled in a stunning shade of lux chiffon called "Limeade," and although it's difficult to see in the picture, the color is a soft shade of neon green.

Because it is so playful and unique, we can see this color becoming incredibly popular for upcoming summer weddings. This inspired us to make an Inspiration Board of color, perfect for brides who don't shy away when it comes to bright colors and bold statements.

A Wonderful World of Weddings Recap

We had a blast at the Wonderful World of Weddings show at State Fair Park a few weekends ago. Taking place the first weekend of January every year, we met with plenty of 2014 and 2015 brides who are getting excited about their upcoming weddings.

We have so much fun at bridal shows like these because we love meeting with brides, bridesmaids, and moms who are interested in letting us be a part of their special day. We are grateful to be involved with brides throughout their entire planning process and we welcome all of the brides we met at the Wonderful World of Weddings to our boutique!

We don't see many mermaid-style gowns made of lace, and that's what makes Poeta stand out from the crowd. It also features plenty of delicate details, like scalloping on the skirt and fabric-covered buttons. We love that Poeta allows for a refined, romantic look, but still shows off curves in all the right places.

Wtoo Avenza: 
The two words that best describe Avenza are definitely "Sleek" and "Sophisticated." For a bride who wants modern details, Avenza has an interesting, architectural neckline in a sturdy Mikado fabric.
