Simple Appointment Etiquette

This blog is dedicated to those who show up an hour early for their appointment, not at all, or drop in without one. Miss Ruby is open by appointment for many reasons. However, we mainly want the allotted time with your group to be spent uninterrupted so we can cater to your needs and answer all of your questions.

At Miss Ruby we offer something very special…you are not only scheduled in for an appointment so our staff can devote their time to you but we are reserving the boutique exclusively for you and/or your group. We want your experience to be unlike it is at any other boutique, where you have all of the dress options at your fingertips and a staff person available at all times to answer your many questions; all hopefully uninterrupted by another group.

So basically that is why we kindly ask for appointments to be made. We do this to serve you better. So as you can see, when you arrive early or late for your appointment you will most likely be affecting another group’s experience. And the ultimate no no, if you don’t show up at all you’ll have taken the appointment of someone else that was turned away due to a full schedule.

In the world of busy schedules (yes, everyone is busy) it is crucial to show up to your scheduled appointment. Of course we do understand that things happen and sometimes changes have to be made. We are extremely flexible; however we do expect that you practice common courtesy to Miss Ruby, as well as our customers, by calling to make a change to your appointment time or to cancel if necessary.

Remember, by practicing this simple appointment etiquette with Miss Ruby (and other vendors) you are helping make your experience, as well as all the other customers out there, better.
