Did you receive great service from Miss Ruby Boutique?

We always try to do everything we can to make sure that everyone who visits Miss Ruby Boutique receives excellent customer service from the time they walk through our door until they leave! We get many compliments about how thoughtful and attentive our consultants are, and we have to admit, we think they are pretty great too! It is our pleasure to help all of our brides, bridesmaids, moms, and flower girls get ready for the big day. And if you had a great experience at our store and want to "return the favor" here's something you can do for us.

Give us a good review! Whether it is on google.com, yelp.com, or even Facebook, people sharing their experiences at our store gets the word out and supports our local business! It only takes a few minutes and makes a huge impact on future customers.

Thank You!

Inspiration: Pearls

We know everyone says that "diamonds are a girls best friend," but at Miss Ruby, we think pearls are pretty great too. We recommend pearl accessories to brides all of the time because they are so versatile, they fit in perfectly with the classic elegance of a vintage wedding, or make you look modern by standing out from all of the brides with bling. Simple, understated, and super chic, check out the ways pearls can be incorporated into your wedding theme, whether they cover your dress (we love the Whitney dress pictured below) or just for around your wrist, play up pearls on your big day to look perfectly polished.

The Whitney dress by Robert Bullock is a work of art covered in graduated pearls!
The pearl accent pulls together the vintage look of this Jaxie Belt.

Pearls + Sparkle make for a gorgeous bouquet!

For a more simplistic bouquet, this one is made entirely out of delicate strands of pearls.

Just in: James Clifford Bridal Gowns

We love spring for so many reasons but probably our favorite is the daily arrival of new dresses for the spring collections. As we open our packages bursting with luxurious fabrics we are as giddy as all get out.  And when we see an arrival from one of our favorite designers, James Clifford, we just smile. Because we know that a beautiful gown is inside!  Recently we received three new gowns that are already making girls exclaim "Yes" to the dress.  Check em out below!

What to Wear to a Spring Wedding (as a guest)

With winter almost over and spring just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what to wear to all of those spring weddings you're invited to! Being a wedding guest can be almost as tricky (if not more tricky) than being in the bridal party when it comes to picking out what to wear. Luckily, Miss Ruby has a few suggestions about what trends fit perfectly with wedding-guest wear.

Check out our suggestions below and don't be afraid to make an appointment at Miss Ruby Boutique if you are looking for a gorgeous dress to wear to a wedding. We are not only for bridesmaids - we're here for anyone looking to wear an amazing dress, even if you are just a guest!

Trend 1: Pastels

What a better way to look soft and feminine at a wedding than with a dress in an adorable pastel color. Check out these picks below and also check out the new dresses from the Wtoo bridesmaids collection - they are available in some great on-trend pastels.

Coral is an easy color for anyone to wear.

Trend 2: Prints

You don't have to worry about wearing the wrong color to a wedding when you decide to wear a print! They can be a fun way to stand out from the crowd and look elegant all at the same time. For spring, we're loving anything with flowers or bright colors!

Trend 3: Maxi Dresses

Maxi dresses are such an easy way to look glamorous! They are comfortable, easy to wear, and cover you up for any cool spring nights. One of our best selling maxis is the Bari Jay dress pictured below. It comes in dozens of colors, so all you need to do is pick out a statement necklace and you're good to go!

Just in: Mother of Occasion Dresses

Over the past few weeks we've received many new mother of bride & groom dresses from Siri & Watters. If you are sick of the typical, frumpy mother of the bride options you will love these new styles!  The styles are chic, fun & flattering in gorgeous silks, satins & lace.  All dresses can be customized with color. Keep in mind they are all available made-to-order so they will take about 8-12 weeks for regular delivery or 4-8 weeks for rush delivery.  If you are still in need of a dress for your daughter or sons summer or fall wedding we can still help you out!

Inspiration: Balloons

For those of you that want a whimsical wedding, this post is for you. Balloons are nothing if not nostalgic - they remind us of being a kid at birthday parties, fairs and carnivals. And they still have a way of making everything better, even today. Adding these airborne accents to your wedding is a way to show your wedding is all about fun! Whether you have a few as an accent or exit the reception in a hot air balloon (could you imagine?), it is going to be a detail that no one  is soon to forget! Check out ways others have incorporated balloons into their wedding and see if you can find a place for balloons at yours. You know the your inner child wants you to!

Adorable polka dotted balloon themed save-the-dates were found here.

Sometimes simple is the most elegant, like this hot air inspired invitation.

Forget the rice, have your guests let balloons go as you leave the ceremony site!
