We have a staff meeting every month, but December is always reserved for helping others. This year, we partnered with
The Guest House, an amazing Milwaukee shelter that provides housing, education, and other valuable services to those who seek to transform their lives.
We knew that we would be purchasing Christmas presents for the
Guest House's residents, but after a talk from a representative from the organization, we understood the difference that these items would make in the lives of residents seeking to become independent and change their lives. They requested simple items (such as jeans and shoes), and encouraged we didn't wrap them. Why? Because having a
choice is sometimes more significant than having a present.
Take a look at our photos & learn more about how you can support this extraordinary organization.

The Guest House likes to share this picture when explaining their mission - it shows where people start on their journey to recovery. |
